As a North Carolina native, a Wake County parent, and the sister of a public school teacher, I know firsthand what makes our schools great and where they need our support. From ensuring our educators have the resources to flourish, to guaranteeing that no student has to learn with an empty belly, I am ready to leverage my background in policy and advocacy to get things done for our community.
But a strong school system starts with listening. I want to hear your story, your challenges, and your hopes for our schools.

I believe the best ideas for our schools come from the people inside them: educators, staff, students, and families.
I’m launching this campaign with a clear set of priorities shaped by my own experience as a Wake County parent, my professional background in advocacy, and what I hear from my sister about her experience in the classroom. These priorities are my starting point, but they shouldn't be set in stone. I’m eager to hear from parents, educators, and neighbors across our district so we can shape these goals together.
